Camarillo JiuJitsu Brown Belt – 3rd Degree Judo Black belt (Assistant Instructor)

Angela Marino began her martial arts career with the sport of judo in 1984. In 2005 she was promoted to Sandan or third degree black belt in judo and in April of 2017 received her brown belt in Jiu-Jitsu under Daniel Camarillo (A Ralph Gracie black belt).

Angela is an assistant instructor at Camarillo Jiu-Jitsu for the kids class, women’s class, and the judo class. She is a certified national coach in the sport of judo and has extensive competition experience on both the national and international level. During her judo career she was fortunate to train under some of the top judo coaches in the country and spent two and half years training with the Olympic Training Center Judo Team in Colorado Springs.   Angela was awarded the Outstanding Female Masters Athlete of the Year by the USJA in 2009 for her judo accomplishments at the Masters level.

All though her Jiu-jitsu journey began later in life, that has not stopped Angela from competing at an elite level for the last four years. She has been competing in both adult and masters divisions, and has medaled in both Gi and No-Gi.   Below is a list of some of her BJJ accomplishments.
