**Grappling Event Terms and Conditions**
**Waiver of Liability, Consent to Contact, and No Refunds Policy**
Please carefully read the following terms and conditions before participating in the grappling event (“Event”). By registering for and participating in the Event, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below:
**1. Waiver of Liability:**
I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that participation in the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, bodily injury, permanent disability, and even death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event, and I hereby waive, release, and discharge the event organizers, their affiliates, sponsors, employees, volunteers, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the Event, including those arising from the negligence of the aforementioned parties.
**2. Consent to Contact:**
By participating in the Event, I consent to being contacted by the event organizers for purposes related to the Event. This may include information updates, marketing materials, and future event notifications. I understand that my contact information provided during registration may be used for these purposes. I have the right to opt out of receiving such communications at any time by following the provided opt-out instructions.
**3. No Refunds Policy:**
I understand and acknowledge that there are no refunds for registration fees or any other payments made in connection with the Event, regardless of my participation or attendance. This no refunds policy applies in all circumstances, including but not limited to, event cancellation, my inability to attend, or my voluntary withdrawal from the Event.
**4. Assumption of Risks:**
I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks and dangers associated with participating in the Event. I am physically and mentally capable of participating in the Event and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. I will abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the event organizers for the duration of the Event.
**5. Indemnification:**
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the event organizers, their affiliates, sponsors, employees, volunteers, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to my participation in the Event.
**6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:**
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.
By registering for the Event, I acknowledge that I have carefully read and understood these terms and conditions and that I voluntarily agree to be bound by them. I further acknowledge that this agreement is legally binding and applies to my participation in the Event.
